What software will we be using?

We use beginner-friendly, web-based CAD tools selected by the instructor. These tools are powerful enough for real design but easy enough for a first-time user to master in a single session.

Do I need to bring my own laptop?

No. We provide high-performance workstations at our Warminster studio with all the necessary software pre-installed and ready to go.

Can I print the model I design in class?

Yes! While the class focuses on design, we can help you set up your file to be printed at our studio using an Open Print Station Pass or as part of a future class.

What is the age recommendation for CAD?

We recommend this class for ages 10 and up, including adults. The software requires a certain level of spatial reasoning and computer comfort.
